The Story
Vintage audio heritage. Reimagined for modern living.
Viaggi Audio began with a simple observation: many vintage radiograms and audio cabinets were beautifully made, but no longer suited to the way people live today.
These pieces were once central to the home. They were not just audio equipment. They were furniture, storage, design and sound in one object. A radiogram had presence. It belonged in the room.
Over time, many were pushed into garages, spare rooms, sheds and storage units. The technology became outdated, but the furniture often remained full of character — walnut veneers, speaker grilles, record compartments, radio fascias, legs, handles and proportions that are difficult to find in modern mass-produced furniture.
Viaggi Audio was created to bring that idea forward.
We select vintage radiograms, record cabinets and audio furniture with strong design potential, then rework them for modern living. Some pieces retain original features. Others are adapted with new layouts, modern audio, media storage, lighting or contemporary finishes.
The aim is not to recreate the past exactly as it was. The aim is to preserve the spirit of these pieces and give them a new purpose.
What we do
Selected technical services
Alongside our own restoration work, we offer selected turntable servicing, mechanical repairs and speaker re-foaming through our Servicing & Repairs page.
The Viaggi Audio approach
We look for pieces with character, proportion and potential.
We preserve original details where they add value.
We rework cabinets so they can be used in modern interiors.
We design with sound, storage and furniture in mind.
We treat every piece as part of a larger story — from vintage audio heritage to modern living.
Built to be used again
A Viaggi Audio piece should not feel like old equipment. It should feel like furniture with history, presence and purpose.
That is the story behind Viaggi Audio:
Vintage audio furniture, reimagined for the modern home.
